Please take that time to read this article from The Guardian. If you do you begin to understand that transgender people like myself are just people like everyone else except we realise that our body doesn’t match our identity.
We have feelings and emotions like everyone else, we are resilient because of what we go through, we love life and just want to be part of society.
None of us just wake up one day and suddenly think we are transgender. In my experience, I have known for a long time that I am different to most people and just didn’t wake up one day and decide that I am was transgender.
If you read this article you will see that these people are amazing people who just want to live their lives and be accepted as part of society.
