Campaigners hail ‘seismic shift’ in diversity of US children’s books | Books | The Guardian

This is a huge shift in children’s publishing in the US to have more kids books featuring African-American and Asian characters. Let us hope that this trend continues and will extend to other countries having more kids books with culturally diverse characters. Also the increase in the number of Asian authors in the US is excellent and gives me hope that we are starting to get diversity and what it actually means in the real world.

Having more diverse books can only enlighten and enrich people’s lives and make it better for all of us.
