Great to see that WarnerMedia are going to start to take diversity and inclusion seriously by creating a chief diversity and inclusion officer. Hopefully this will lead to more women and diversity in their organisation which should flow on to other parts of Warner and to on stage as well. It would be great to see if other organisations who don’t already have a chief diversity and inclusion officer to follow their lead in doing so. As for those that don’t put much emphasis on diversity and inclusion to re-think their position and put more resources into this area.
In wake of an executive reshuffling and the departure of its studio chief amid a sex scandal, WarnerMedia said it plans to create a new executive position that will focus on diversity and inclusion.
